Role OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about food, eager to learn, and ready to grow their culinary career.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of senior chefs
- Maintain consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
- Follow recipes and plating guidelines accurately
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations
- Support inventory management and food storage procedures
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements- Previous kitchen experience (in a similar role preferred but not essential)
- Passion for cooking and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, teamwork, and strong communication skills
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards (training provided if needed)
