At Burmarrad Group, we are looking for a
Workshop Helper support our team in the fabrication and assembly of vehicle bodies and components. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated, willing to learn, and interested in developing skills in welding, fabrication, and vehicle body construction.
Training will be provided, and you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in basic fabrication and assembly tasks on vehicle bodies and components.
- Support senior fabricators with cutting, shaping, and preparing metal parts.
- Help with simple welding tasks under supervision (training provided).
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
- Assist in quality checks to ensure work meets company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Some experience or interest in vehicle body building, welding, or mechanical work (experience not mandatory if willing to learn).
- Good communication in Maltese and English.
- Basic familiarity with hand and power tools is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- Ability to work well in a team and support senior staff.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills through on-the-job training.
