Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about food, eager to learn, and ready to grow their culinary career.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparation and cooking of menu items under the guidance of senior chefs
Maintain consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
Follow recipes and plating guidelines accurately
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations
Support inventory management and food storage procedures
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Requirements

Previous kitchen experience (in a similar role preferred but not essential)
Passion for cooking and willingness to learn
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, teamwork, and strong communication skills
Knowledge of food hygiene standards (training provided if needed)
