The Business Analyst (BA) will act as a key interface between clients and the software development team, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, well-documented, and can effectively be translated into actionable technical requirements. The role requires strong facilitation, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of modern software development life cycle practices (Agile approaches, development artifacts, integrations, CI/CD, QA, testing etc.).

How you will Make an Impact
In all of your interactions—with clients, stakeholders, developers, and project leadership—your expertise as a Business Analyst will drive clarity and alignment. You're methodical, insightful, and passionate about connecting business strategy to technical delivery. Your skills in requirements analysis are top-tier, and you have a talent for documenting complex business needs in ways that enable development teams to build solutions that exceed client expectations.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Client Engagement & Workshops:
- Lead, run and document workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions with clients to elicit and clarify business objectives, pain points, and user needs/journeys using techniques such as process mapping, storyboarding, and requirements workshops
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions between stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams to align on priorities and outcomes.
Requirements Analysis & Documentation:
- Capture, validate, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into user stories and business requirements, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Document using processes modelling (such as BPMN, UML, flow diagrams, etc.)
- Carry out and document gap analysis and impact assessment of captured requirements
- Maintain a clear requirements traceability matrix throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure documentation adheres to best practices and supports iterative development.
Solution Design Support:
- Collaborate with software architects and developers to ensure business requirements are feasible, scalable, and aligned with system design principles.
- Support the definition of data models, APIs, and integration points where relevant to system design.
Quality & Delivery Alignment:
- Work with QA teams to define acceptance tests and verify that delivered features meet business expectations.
- Participate in sprint reviews, backlog prioritisation, and retrospectives to ensure business value is continuously delivered.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to refinement of analysis, documentation, and stakeholder engagement methodologies.
- Stay current with trends in software delivery, business analysis standards, and Agile frameworks.

How to Stand Out?
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in software development environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and software development lifecycles.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent client-facing communication
- Proven ability to translate and document complex business problems into structured business and technical requirements.
Preferred:
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Exposure to UX/UI discussions and an understanding of user-centered design principles.
- Familiarity with data analysis, APIs, and system integration concepts.
- Certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA) considered an asset.
