Role purpose
To perform assigned duties within the allocated site and achieve targets in terms of quality and quantity in line with safe work practices.
The Key Duties And Responsibilities Of The Role
- Coordinating projects work according to priorities and plans
- Producing schedules and monitor attendance of Installers
- Allocating general and daily responsibilities to Team Leaders/ Installers
- Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Setting clear team goals and manage teams remotely and on site
- Delegating tasks and set deadlines for Team Leaders/Installers/ Operators
- To be the contact point for all team members
- To act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration
- To lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals and meet project deadlines
- To create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

- Oversee day-to-day operation
- Monitor team performance and submit reports

- Discover training needs of Installers and provide coaching
- Listen to Installers’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts

- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
- Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
- Resolve problems when they arise
- Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.
- Inspect and test, and is capable to determine electrical problems and faulty wires
- Check installation standard, and that they meet up to electrical design
- Quantify changes being held on the project and report to the quantity surveyor
- Estimating materials needed for projects and ordering supplies from suppliers
- Be present for progress meetings to discuss with different entities architect, designers, other buildings services contractors

- Knowledge on light fixtures, smoke detectors, fire alarms, wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and grounding systems, cable management, load shedding, distribution boards configuration
