We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor to join our operations team at our Luqa Manufacturing Facility, Malta (full-time).
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities and leading a team of approximately 30 employees within our Luqa manufacturing facility.
This role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining consistent product quality, and supporting a safe, organised, and high-performing production environment across all manufacturing processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate daily production processes to meet output targets and deadlines
- Ensure efficient utilisation of manpower, machinery, and materials
- Maintain high standards of product quality and consistency
- Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements
- Enforce health and safety procedures across the production floor
- Train, guide, and motivate team members to achieve optimal performance
- Track production metrics and prepare regular reports for management
- Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, maintenance, logistics) to ensure smooth operations
- Minimise downtime and waste while maximising productivity
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to lead teams and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of production workflows and operational processes
