We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise office floors, carpets, windows, and other surfaces regularly.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas including restrooms, kitchens, and meeting rooms.
- Dust and wipe office furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Empty and dispose of office trash and recyclables.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces like door handles, light switches, and telephones.
- Ensure that office restrooms are stocked with toiletries and regularly cleaned and sanitised.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish consumables as needed.
- Ensure that all kitchen areas are stocked with supplies like coffee, tea, sugar, and other essentials.
- Notify the person responsible about low stock or required orders.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to the office manager or facilities team.
- Set up meeting rooms for events or conferences, ensuring the room is clean and stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., water, pens, etc.).
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure the office environment is safe, clean, and hygienic.
- Perform periodic deep cleaning of the office and equipment, as required.
- Assist with office organisation and tidying tasks as required by management.
- Support other administrative duties as necessary
- Assist in setting up for special office events or meetings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar cleaning or maintenance role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
- Reliability, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
