Role Description The Fleet Coordinator at Hertz Malta is a full-time, on-site role based in Qormi, responsible for overseeing the daily performance and availability of the vehicle fleet. This role includes monitoring vehicle status, coordinating deliveries, collections, and maintenance schedules, and ensuring accurate documentation and system updates. The Fleet Coordinator collaborates with operations and customer service teams to support rental and lease activities, resolve issues promptly, and maintain high fleet utilization and quality standards. The role also involves liaising with external service providers, supporting inventory control, and assisting in implementing operational procedures that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Fleet Operations and Fleet Management skills, with experience coordinating vehicle allocation, maintenance, and logistics.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to handle internal and external stakeholders professionally.
- Background in Operations Management, including process improvement, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency with basic IT tools and fleet or rental management systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Qormi, manage multiple priorities, and respond quickly to operational needs.
- Previous experience in car rental, transport, logistics, or a related sector is an asset.
- Valid driving license and a strong safety and compliance mindset are highly preferred.
