Job summary
The Tradesperson will be responsible to carry out general maintenance works on the Bankβs premises and equipment to ensure the safe working environment in the Bank. The Tradesperson is to also required to provide logistical support as and when necessary in a diligent and safe manner. Ready to work on a six-day shift including Saturdays as and when necessary.
Main Responsibilities
- Submit any reports and/or participate in any projects and activities as may be directed from time to time and to attend training as requested by the Bank.
- Ensure compliance with Bankβs policies, guidelines and underlying procedures at all times.
- Ensure a high quality/standard of work and service throughout, taking all necessary actions and safeguards to work within the Health and Safety guidelines.
- Perform standard office procedures including answering phone calls, ordering supplies and filing.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Have good verbal and written communication skills and computer literate.
- Be reliable, organised, meticulous and prepared to work under pressure.
- Be able to work in a fast paced, high pressured environment.
- A minimum of 3 years hands on post-qualification experience in a technical or building and facilities management environment is ideally required.
- Building Services engineering experience and competent in mechanical and electrical issues design, diagnosis and resolution.
