Summary:
Due to the continued growth of WHG, the company is seeking a Head of Investor Relations.
Your day to day:
- Develop and execute a global investor relations roadmap aligned with the corporate growth strategy.
- Build and maintain relationships with private equity investors and investment banking advisors
- Lead ongoing financial reporting and investor management for existing PE sponsors and Board members
- Act as the central point of contact for investor-related queries, ensuring timely, accurate and commercially focused responses.
- Translate monthly and quarterly operating data into board-level briefing books detailing GGR, NGR and EBITDA trajectory
- Deliver market intelligence, peer valuation benchmarks and capital deployment insights to C-Suite.
- Monitor developments in key regulated markets and assess their potential financial and commercial impact on the business.
- Support the CEO, CFO and executive leadership team in evaluating potential investment, acquisition, partnership and strategic growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance leaders to convey the financial and valuation impact of entering newly licensed markets, regional tax adjustments and regulatory compliance frameworks to private investors.
- Standardise private reporting and governance frameworks to ensure seamless transition into IPO or trade sale scenarios.
- Prepare and co-ordinate investor presentations, briefings and other stakeholder engagement activities.
- Lead end-to-end deal execution
- Translate the financial implications of multi-jurisdictional licensing, tax adjustment laws, and compliance requirements for private market investors.
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years of industry experience in investor relations and iGaming
- Masters level qualification in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Mastery of online gambling mechanics, regulatory frameworks and secretary KPI’s
- Highly experienced working in a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, financial reporting and confidentiality requirements.
- Proven experience preparing executive-level presentations and financial investor material.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex financial and commercial information to various audiences.
- Strong strategic, analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Advanced financial modelling, virtual data room management and strategic C-suite communications
- Demonstrable experience working with senior executives, investors, shareholders and similar senior financial stakeholders
- This role is an office-based role in Mosta, Malta
