Our client, a well-established and respected organisation, is looking to recruit a Junior Finance Executive to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to gain broad exposure and develop their career within a supportive, hands-on environment.
πΌ The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Executive will support key financial processes across management accounts, forecasting, cashflow, and statutory reporting. Youβll play an important role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information while contributing to continuous improvement across the finance function.
π Key Responsibilities
- Posting invoices, handling creditor reconciliations, and managing supplier queries
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and forecasts
- Supporting month-end close, including reconciliations, prepayments, and depreciation
- Managing intercompany recharges and reconciliations
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Monitoring and managing company cashflow
- Supporting the annual statutory audit and liaising with external auditors
- Responding to finance-related queries from internal stakeholders and third parties
- Ensuring compliance with company accounting policies and procedures
- Liaising with banks and financial institutions
- Supporting day-to-day finance operations and identifying internal control improvements
- Assisting with month-end reporting and ad-hoc finance tasks

- Experience in a similar finance or accounts-based role
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across departments
- Proactive, adaptable, and keen to grow within a finance function
