Our client, a company operating within the financial and outsourcing services sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to join its finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting key accounting activities including month-end and year-end procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accounting records within the accounting system.
- Process vendor invoices, track expenses, and prepare supplier payments.
- Manage customer accounts and assist with collections when required.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
- Support month-end closing procedures, audit preparation, and year-end activities.
- Assist with payroll preparation and related administrative tasks.
- Handle filing, correspondence, and provide general administrative support to the finance department.
Requirements
- A-level education or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
