GCS Malta is looking for a Logistics & Supply Chain Executive to work with a leading company in Malta.
Responsibilities:
- Handle customs clearance and coordinate with freight companies, port authorities, and warehouses.
- Monitor stock levels and prevent overstocking or shortages.
- Coordinate with warehouses for accurate inventory.
- Arrange shipments, track deliveries, and liaise with carriers.
- Manage purchase orders, communicate with suppliers, and ensure timely procurement.
- Supervise storage, handling, and documentation of goods.
- Process customer orders and coordinate dispatch schedules.
- Reduce transportation/storage costs and improve logistics efficiency.
- Maintain records and prepare reports on shipments, inventory, and costs.
The ideal candidate will have experience in operations and logistics, including importation, documentation, liaising with customs and ports, and managing track-and-trace processes and all related customs documentation.
This role requires strong project management, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with fluency in English and Maltese is a plus.
